Student guidelines. Please be sure to read all the rules stated on this page before submitting your application form. It is crucial that you understand the works of the roleplay and the academy.

BASIC INFORMATION

1. This is an AU (alternate universe) roleplay. You do not know the rest of the students  unless an early biographical history was established. Please add it to your biography if a relationship has been formed. This applies to moving couples, etc.

2. Classes are occasionally conducted for the gaining of Yuan points. You are not expected to produce a 1000 word essay (OC school work is already enough to kill us all) but to at least be present during the lesson in any form (of writing) you find accessible.

3. We expect our members/students to have at least the basic knowledge of the avatar world and it is with this reason that all new members will be automatically enrolled as a first year and may go up a grade when the time has come. 

4. Please do not confuse OOC with IC. Any OOC related posts should only be shared within the available OOC group (reality). OOC drama is strictly forbidden. Refrain from posting offensive content or you will be removed immediately.

PETS & POINTS

1. Students are only allowed to own pets of the human world (cats, dogs, etc). Avatar world pets (bison, lemur, koalaotter, etc) are only allowed to be owned if bought from the Republic City's pawn shop.

2. The points obtained by a student will remain unchanged unless used for purchasing purposes. The points will be deducted from the student's wallet and also the respectful nation's score board when used during purchase.

3. Once a semester ends, the student may choose to remain in the same year or move up a grade. An amount of Yuan points is needed to change the year the student is in. (min 70y depending on the year of study transfer)

4. Points will not be removed from the tribe's scoreboard if inactivity or leaving members occur. Score Board will return to 0 by the end of each semester after the winning tribe is announced.

5. To be elected as class president or a school prefect, the student must first obtain a minimum number of Yuan points and is also seen participating in each conducted class. The student council (admins) will inform on future elections.

BENDING

1. Bending is only allowed to students who received a bending element result after they had submitted their student enrollment form. There is no bias judgement on behalf of our administration team and we hope that everyone will be accepting with whatever the outcome of their results.

2. To students who are noted to be non-benders may one day possess a bending element prior to achieving a set number of Yuan points and when it is notified by the administration team on the event. 

3. You are not allowed to master more than one element. Please limit from being a Mary Sue: characters who are usually extraordinarily gorgeous, amazingly talented, unusually powerful, and exceedingly attractive to whoever the player favored upon.

4. Specialized bending techniques are only allowed for the 5th and 6th Year students. Eg: Bloodbending (water) and Lightning manipulation (fire) cannot be done by students who are below the ages of 20 (5th Year).

5. Biographical relations with past avatars (eg: Avatar Kyoshi, earth bender) is allowed with the reminder that the family relation would have been thousands of years back and that you are in no way possible to be an Avatar yourself.

Please exert only positive vibes (though angst is recommended for plotted drama) and be welcoming. Apply the pure intention in wanting to meet new people, create new bonds and have fun so we may create a fun-filled place for all.
